Save the Date! UCA will host the 5th Annual Night of Distinction gala on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award will be Dr. Kofi Boahene ‘94 and Faith A. Fields '75,’88. Dr. Herman B. Ellis '59 will receive the Alumni Service Award.
UCA continues to make progress toward fulfilling the goals set forth in the Framework for the Future. The newly-expanded Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) Center re-opened November 24, 2014. This event was four years in the making.
Hundreds of scholarship recipients and donors gathered together in McCastlain Hall in what turned out to be the largest scholarship reception in UCA history.
The UCA Panhellenic Council has seen a 20 percent increase of women joining sororities during the fall 2014 recruitment due, in large part, to the construction of Greek Village on campus.
Donaghey Hall got the green light from the Board of Trustees, who approved a feasibility study for issuing bonds for the proposed 67,500-sq. ft. mixed-use building at Donaghey Avenue and Bruce Street.
From new and renovated facilities to fun events that keep more students on campus, the students' mood is at all-time high at UCA.
